But I would avoid the cotten. Hamsters have been known to get tangled and strangled in it and if injested it could cause blockages and ultimatly death. Toilet paper or unscented kleenex is the way to go.

Dont worry about it! It is a natural non toxin bedding and I have been using it for about 8 months now. It breaks very easy so they cant get tangled.... the woman in my pet shop has been breeding hamsters since she was 8 and she uses it. And its only Non-natural ones which get blocked.
