Just because he is being active doesn't mean he won't feel the pain later. Just wonderign why is your cousin not a vet anymore?
Also she can't do any test on him just by feeling him. If he wasn't wanting to put pressure on his back legs then there is clearly something wrong.

I really don't know how to explain it, he was putting pressure on them and walking but he would limp only like once or twice. My friend took him for a walk while I was gone and she said she ran him a lot. Could that have anything to do with it? My cousin is actually an equine vet now. She switched

I would still take the dog to the vet so that they can perform tests to ACTUALLY see whats going on.

How? We really don't have the money at all. My dad passed away, my mom doesn't have a job, and I'm paying for my horses.

Sorry just had to do that. But, seriously, if you cant afford the vet, you shouldn't keep the pet.

Don't let em get ya down.

Just a suggestion... if your dog was limping after being run by the puppy sitter, you should tell that person - no more running. Also you should keep the dog relatively calm for a week or two to see if that helps. That doesn't mean confining it, but rather engage in short walks rather than have it chase things. If puppy dog starts limping again in the near term, it sounds like with your cousin a Vet, you should be able to hit on said cousin for treatment.

As has been mentioned countless other times, things happen in people's lives which make things rough for a while financially. Don't judge someone in a tight financial spot unless you've been there yourself.

People come here for support and suggestions, not to be hammered.
