I feed Sassy apple all the time, of course not seeds. So I was just wondering if the rest is bad for her? **Note: I feed her small slices of apple, but NOT the seeds!

I really haven't found anything good or bad about apple itself.

I just remember reading something years ago that you're not supposed to give apples to horses. I wonder if it was for the same reason with the seeds.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

A lot of commerical, store brought pet food is not good for dogs or cats! Look beyond from those pretty pictures & the cuties dogs/cats on the bags & read beyond the picture, you don't know what in that bag that is bad for your dogs & cats

My dogs get apples, broccoli, liver and pears... and drink tap water. I've never had issues.

Is it OK to feed apples as long as no seeds are included in the slice? My two just love it when I share an apple with them.

Yes, as long as you threw the seeds away, they will be fine!
