I must confess, I am SO not good with math. Of course, I can quickly calculate my fee on a contingency case, BUT, struggle with the very simple math. Always have. Used to be I was ashamed of it. Now, I laugh at myself (usually after the person I am dealing with starts to laugh). Oh well.

back in my grocery checker days (and yes, I knew how to make change ), a man bought an abolutely HUGE bunch of bananas. I put them on the scale and computed the price. He said, "that can't be right, they're 49 cents a bunch." I calmly told him, "no, they are 49 cents a pound".
