I am sure it was the most condensed loving period there could be. RIP, Sweet Beau.

I'm sorry you had such a short time with Beau, but at least he knew what a good life is.

I'm so sorry about Beau. He got to spend the last 53 weeks of his life as a pampered prince.

Oh, I'm so sorry!!! I bet you were the best that happened in Beau's life. He left for the Bridge with the knowledge that he was loved.

I'm really sorry to hear that Beau has passed away, but knowing that he was loved by you must've been a great comfort to him. I loved to see pictures of him and hear about him, and it's so wonderful that he spent his older days in a loving house.
RIP Beau we will all miss you on PT.

Glacier, I'm so sorry to hear that old man Beau has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.
I know that you made the last year of his life the best year of his life.
    Sending hugs your way.

Thanks everyone. It's awfully quiet in the house without him yelling at me for food all the time or for petting him too much, or for moving when I should be sitting still ect....he was rather opinionated!

I am having him cremated. I bought an urn on ebay today. The local place only has plain wooden boxes. They are very nice and I have several already, but they didn't feel right for Beau. This feels like the right urn for him:

I laughed out loud when I read the inscription. That was my Beau!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Beau. I remember well his arrival in your home, and I knew he would be loved dearly for the rest of his days, however long that might be.

He knew he was loved and he knew you did all you could for him. He is now a young tabby again, carousing the RB and adding his opinions to how things are run up there.

{{{hugs}}} to you and Stuart at this difficult time.

RIP Beau, your grumpiness will be missed.

This may not be appropriate, but.......I can't help but wonder what wonderful senior kitty is going to be so lucky to fill the vacancy left by Beau.....

I am so sorry and sad to hear about sweet Beau's journey to the RB. I'm sure that this last year with you was the best of his life. Yes, he was a distinguished (and grumpy) old gentleman, but oh, that face.

Hugs to you and your hubby; bless you for giving Beau so much love.
