Boone only grew to be 80 pounds. His sire was 105 pounds and his dam was about 75. His sire and dam dropped huge pups normally, the breeder told us that we would be getting a pup that would end up being 115-120. When I called the breeder when Boone was nearly a year old and told her he was only 80 pounds she was shocked and actually appologized and asked if we were OK with that. She's so nice, she said she would replace him if we wern't happy, but he's just such a good dog that we don't mind that he didn't grow as big as everyone thought. It's actually good that he's not any bigger because he's an "under-your-foot" dog and we're already having to shove his butt out of the way all the time hehe. I couldn't imagine anyone returning a dog because of it's sizeOriginally Posted by Kfamr
We love our Boone, he's a good boy. I do really miss Graham though. No dog will ever take Graham's place in my heart.
