Kay, I was so upset when her littermates didn't make it. For one, we got the news of them dying 1 by 1 when Molly was in the hospital, so of course it made me fear the worst. And 2, I had kind of hoped that maybe one of them might get adopted somewhere near me, and we could do playdates together with her brother/sisters....So sad
Cassiesmom - When we first got Lucy, my fiance was on a break from school for 2 weeks....he went into like, boot camp training mode with her! She LOVED it. When he wasn't working on stuff with her she would sit there next to him until he would start with her again - she was such a fast learner, and of course it helps that she's a lab and will literally do anythinggggg for food!
I taught her some new ones recently - she now knows "clean up your toys"....she goes around and picks up her things and puts them in the toy bin....only to empty them out again, of course. and she knows "fruit loop" and "cheerio" (spins in a circle in either direction). When she can't figure out what I'm trying to get her to do sometimes, she will randomly do fruit loop and cheerio in rapid succession thinking that maybe that will get her the treat lol
