How Rude! I felt so bad.

My gosh what a mean person.She didn't have to give them to her daughters intil they are alot older.Even if she didn't like them she should have thanked the boys and said how nice it was of them to think of her daughters and make them beautiful bracklets(sp?)

Sounds like it very well could be an issue between the mom and the SIL maybe, and the poor boys got the fallout. How heartbreaking for them I know my mom and my dads sister were always at odds, and nothing we could do would ever please my aunt -- turns out she was just a b****. And it sounds like this woman is as well.

Yeah it was really unfortunate. I don't know why she didn't keep them for her boys.... I know as a child if I was upset about something like that I would just want it to go away I wouldn't have wanted to keep it to remind me that my work "Isn't good enough" Of course it's not true that they weren't good enough..... but I can definitely see a child feeling that way and not wanting to even see the bracelets anymore. She didn't have the boys in the store with her when she came back. It was just her and her daughter and they ended up exchanging the bracelets for the bracelets the daughter had made (the mother didn't end up having enough money to pay for all the bracelets at once so she was going to come back next week for her daughters bracelets)

Reggie, NO I do NOT have her email address.... this person was a CUSTOMER.... if I did have it I would not be giving it out to someone to send a rude message to a customer or anyone in their family. Seems you need to find an outlet for that anger before it gets the best of you. I mean yes this situation upset me because I just can't imagine hurting a child like that but not enough for me to harass someone over it.

Even at my age I am still stunned when someone does something deliberately cruel. As Blue Frog said, I think there is more to the story than meets the eye. There must be some issues between the Mother and the DIL and the DIL
was using this situation to get back at her.

She could have kindly kept them - used them as decoration for the time being until the girls were old enough to wear them safely.

I'm sure there was some bad blood between the mother and the DIL BUT that is no reason to hurt two innocent children. Bad blood or not she is nothing but selfish..... if she did that to get back at her MIL she was thinking of NOTHING but herself and did not care who she hurts in the process. People can be so petty sometimes. Hurting two innocent children for your own petty grievances GRRRR.

And the great thing about those bracelets is that as the girls grew they could have the bracelets lengthened to grow with them so they could have them forever.

She won't instruct them on the dangers of putting things into their mouths-
So, when the day comes they swallow an object and choke to death she'll will freak out. and sue the world... ..
