I've had my Puddy since she was 5 weeks old; she was rejected by her mother, due to birth defects and her family was going to have her pts. So I got her and it was the best thing I ever did! My vet warned me from the get go to keep her away from male cats because sometimes they will kill kittens. My Boo was/is such a pussy, pun intended, that he would never hurt her. But I didn't take any chances. So I had to keep her isolated for 6 weeks. And it's good to do that anyhow in case she has any communicable diseases. My vet also had me feed her Gerber's baby food, chicken to be exact, and cooked macaroni that she could chow down, no hard, crunchy food for a while. Puddy's had her health issues, that's for sure, but she's 12 now and still hangin' in there. Good luck w/your new furbaby.

And I am definately making sure she knows, yes turns out its a she!!! I'm making sure to give her all my love, today I'm doing nothing but being with her and handling her and playing with her, and I am also getting her use to a car so that she will always like the car and not hate it. (my friend took her kitten with her in the car everywhere and now it absolutely loves cars! Today she was sitting on my shoulder while I was driving and she would look ahead out the window just like I was, it was very cute, and she loved the ride with me
