My current favorite is Tenacious D

I also really like: The Beatles, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, and The White Stripes

My favourite band would have to be Rage Against the Machine. I'd have to say that Tom Morello is the most innovative rock guitarist that I know of, and Commerford is a pretty awesome bassist, too. But mainly I listen to them because their music deals with ignored social issues, corruption in politics, human rights and dignity, and justice for those screwed over by the system.
