Tree Struck by Lightning!!!

Wow

I have to say lightning scares me more than when we have tornado warnings and watches. I've had some very frightening experiences with it and I just get unnerved when we get a storm with a lot of severe lightning. Glad everyone is ok!

Thank God no one was near that tree!!! Lightening is a powerful thing and I learned to fear/respect it when I was a child!

golly moly! I never knew a lightning could do more than just striking..

kalei's right, it's amazing how a strike can do - oh how we love mother nature..

I bet you're still awe struck when you see the tree. Our neighbor's seems to attract lightning. I agree with everybody about lightning being the most scary, and I'm a storm chaser. I'm usually out following tornados with no fear, but I avoid lightning. We can sit at our window during bad storms and watch it touch all the way to the ground.

Wow.... I see you got hit with the storms just like we did. The lightning was really scary. We were at the gas station and one struck the traffic lights on the road in front of the station. Very scary.

Amazing pictures though. So glad you decided to stay inside lol
