You're a very good pirate Bri, I don't know how you get all these goodies so fast! Anyway, I never knew Hoist The Colors had all those verses because on the soundtrack it just goes
The king and his men stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her bones
    the seas be ours
    and by the powers
    where we will, we'll roam
    yo ho, all together
    hoist the colors high
    heave ho, theves and beggars
    never shal we die

(I'm such a dork, I've memorised it already!)

Dork schmork. I'm going to coerce the MIT Chantey Sing to learn the doggone thing too.

I think that very first scene was among the best movie scenes I've ever watched. Mostly for the song, but I also liked the swipe at England for abridging habeas corpus and trial by jury.

In all that over-the-top fighting and special-effects chaos, I found a really cool theme - that pirates who can't cooperate to save their already long-gone lives are nowhere near as scary as bloodless bullies who can.

    I saw it!

It was good, but I had when movies get dubbing into other languages, not the same. I guess I will have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see the English version.

Some of you die-hard POTC fans are going to be shocked, but I dozed off for about 10 minutes in the theater! It was a very long movies, but I did enjoy it.

They voice over the cast's voice in another language, don't they? What's the point of PotC without Johnny's sexy voice?

Nah, it's good. My mom fell asleep too and I kept nudging her to wake her up.

So I went and saw it last night - after a bunch of my friends tried convincing me not too, apparently they all thought it was horrid

But overall I thought it was a good movie -- with incredibly stupid parts. Like the 20ft tall Calypso and the crabs carrying the Pearl to water, to just name two It just seemed to be full of a lot of "fillers" and not a strong enough storyline. But that was just my opinon of it! But the ship full of Jack's and Will towards the end made up for it *drools*

I seen it last night with my friends,

It was SO random lol, it was funny too.

Not better than the second movie but good enough.

I'm thinking there might be a 4th from that ending lol.

Me and friends where laughing so much making fun of the movie.

Of course this time we kept our noise level low as we nearly got kicked out last time at Desturbia.

I agree with you, about some stupid parts. But they needed, the Calypso(even though it scared the living crap outta me) to create the storm, so I don't think it was too stupid. But you're right about other parts being fillers. This movie isn't as good as the other two, I LOVE the second one.
