Pops made some good points. And I also feel it is wrong to "trash" a young person's parents to her, no matter what. We do not know these people personally or what all is going on in their lives. We only have Bri's perspective and our own assumptions here. A younger person's perspective can be quite different from a parent's. There was a time when I was younger I would have considered some of my mom's actions as cold-hearted and mean, but now I know a lot more about what was going on with her and why it seemed that way. She loved me very much, and I'm sure Bri's mother loves her too.
