That is lovely, i really like the last one it looks huge compared to the ones that have not bloomed. I would love to have you share pictures of when the others bloom.

We planted the bulbs in fall of 2005. They came up last spring/summer but didn't bloom, this is the first time they have bloomed. They get parial shade there, but probably the sunniest spot under that tree (a lot of morning sun there). The hostas behind it get more shade than the irises planted along the outer edge. I wish I remembered the variety but the plant marker that I had out there was lost. I haven't really done anything special with it. The soil has always been rich in this yard and there was an auto sprinkler system installed here when we moved in that runs on well water. David always put mulch around everything... They really seem to like that spot
I will have to take more pictures when some more open up.
