Yay! I'm so glad Mr. Mishi is doing better! Mitzi, please be patient with the boy; he's not feeling so well right now. Kitty kisses from Cassie.

I'm really glad to hear the Mishi is on the mend! Extra treats are likely in order![]()
Oh RH, I'm almost glad I didn't see this earlier but only just now when things seem a bit less worrysome. I know you're not out of the concern mode yet but maybe now you can at least rest a little easier. Stress is unhealthy so make sure you eat right and try to sleep gently my friend![]()
RH, I'm so glad that Mishi is on the mend and I have no doubt that PT prayers had a hand in it. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that he continues to improve.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Extra treats! Yes I bought some. When the vet was checking him yesterday, he still had greenies in his teeth!
She just called. BUN and Creatinine levels are the same. She's recommending he be on Sub-Q's "for the rest of his life." This is Dr. Doom; the message she left made it sound as if she doesn't expect him to live too long. I really don't like her.
I used to call my old vet's office ahead of time, too, to see if they were running on schedule. It still didn't help. So I sent THEM a bill for my time. They got the point. I don't go there now and Dr. Lee's clinic is right on. But they need to understand that your time is just as valuable as theirs is. Glad to hear Mishi's doing better, though.
Blessings,
Mary

I'm sorry to hear that the vet's office is so unorganized and that you have to wait for long periods of time.I went through that too with my old vets office but now I've finally found a much better and organized vet clinic that's also an emergency clinic. It may be a bit farther away and a little more expensive but my new vet is wonderful and I'm treated very well too. This new vet has also saved Starr's live so I'm very grateful about that too.
I hope that Mishi will continue to do well and that the sub-q fluids will help him.I'll continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
