Is there a recue group in your area that you can contact? They should be able to help you set a "Hav-a-hart" trap with food in it to lure kitty in and then it closes behind kitty so he is "locked in". Then you can decide if you wouold like to have someone at the rescue foster the baby til it is weaned and then find him a home.
