Jeff Gordon's wife is pregnant and due in early July. Gordon plans on being at the hospital for the birth, whether or not he's supposed to be racing when it happens.

So far, so good.

Son Kenneth and Jenny are there in Dover DE in their tent

They already said they would be staying over in the event of rain delay. I'm leaving tomorrow late afternoon for business in Indianapolis (hope to meet up with Lizbud there). Guess the grand-boys will be in charge of the furry ones until "grown ups" get home

They aren't little kids but I never know when they will be here. I'm sure they will when/if they find out Kenneth and Jenny won't be home tonight. Hope hope

No brown bags necessary now Phred. K&J were totally rained out and are on their way home from NO NASCAR Dover DE

They said the rain was so hard and almost sideways with the wind. Wet tent, wet muddy ground (even with drop cloth), wet spirits ~ enuf is enuf they said. Will be back July something or another for a second try. ah well... such is life on the NASCAR circuit

P.S. just checked weather in Indianapolis.. rain all week. Oh joy, oh bliss, OH BOTHER

I just hope they get the race in tomorrow, and the rain goes away here in Ohio by Wednesday! There are a few of us here with a ticket to see the boys play in the dirt, and I'd rather not have a repeat of last years mud-bowl!!!
