RH: Forgive me for not seeing this thread earlier. I'm so glad Mishi is back in your loving arms again and please do not lose hope. Just a thought....do you think he's giving you that "I'm so pathetic" look on purpose??? Sorry, don't mean to make light of the subject. I know very well the pain that we hoomans feel when we see our precious furkids getting older.
big hugs to you and purrkisses to the M's.
Speedy recovery Mishi.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
I'm so sorry to hear this.Lots more prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. Please take care. (((HUGS)))
Thanks everyone, especially Cassiesmom for your generous offer (I tried to PM you back, but your PM box is FULL!) I was worried sick at work, thinking I'd come home to a dead kitty, but when I got home there he was, still looking pathetic, with a meow that's a few octaves lower than normal - he even sounds pathetic! I had a surprise birthday dinner to go to and felt SO guilty dashing in, giving him meds and fluids, trying to squirt down some food and then leaving for my party. Benihana's is fun for a birthday surprise dinner
I returned to two cats waiting impatiently for mom to get the treat bag out already!Mishi gobbled up almost all of them. I think Mitzi is p.o'd at me for giving so much attention to the big goon. Is he milking it? Has he passed a stone? Are we out of the woods yet with this episode? I don't know. We see the vet tomorrow. I'm so unimpressed with my vet's office these days. Today I called to confirm my appointment for tomorrow and they didn't even have me on the books!
Tonight when I stopped in to pick up some X/D, it took about 15 minutes just to buy food. They are so understaffed there. If it wasn't so close to home (half a block) I'd probably go elsewhere.
So it looks like Mishi is going to be around for a little bit longer, please keep those prayers coming as I can tell they're helping. PT peeps are the BEST!
