Oh Raven - you beautiful, happy, smiling, kissy dog you!!!
I guess its only natural for you to be a bit anxious after all you've been through sweetheart.
When I leave my two I set them "tasks" like hiding treats for them to find - that way me leaving them turns into a fun thing and most of the time they don't even notice I've goneI also leave a radio on.

Glad to hear the surgery apparently got the nasty cells out.
If leaving for a few hours, I give mine rawhide chips to munch on. Usually their stomachs over rule their separation anxieties. For the most part all I have to say is "pen-pen" to mine, and they run into their pen- waiting for their treats.![]()
You could try something similar to car training for the separation anxiety. Pretend that you are leaving. Exit out of the house for 20 seconds and then come back in and let puppy out of the kennel. Repeat a couple times a day. Then extend the length of departure to 1 min, 5 mins etc. If nothing else you get to visit the neighbors a lot.![]()
How is Ms. Raven these days?? I keep looking for pics and updates. She's such a gorgeous girl!
Really, how are things lately? She sure looks like she's doing wonderful in her pictures.![]()

Sorry I have not updated in awhile! Raven has been doing wonderfully, and she had her final recheck yesterday. She's been given the official all clear.. no more rechecks scheduled. Of course by now I felt we were going to be just fine, but it was another milestone to get the official word from Dr. Nielson. He hugged her and told her she was such a good baby and told her he loved her. She loves him too, gave him all kinds of kisses and wags. I made a thread with some pictures of her I took this morning here:

and a couple I didn't post there.
Snuffling the grass.. the "specks" are gnats buzzing around.
My beautiful, courageous girl.
Thank you all again, so very very much. You were all right along with me as we went through this roller coaster of fear and hope. I will always remember.
