Yep goldfish cna live with tropical fish no problem, when you think about it goldfish live through very hot summers in ponds and the temperature in ponds get even higher than a tropical tank is, and goldfish don't mind the heat. The tank is set at a good temp of between 79 and 80 and my Little Guy is more happy than when he was in the tank with just goldfish because this tank has an ammonia level of 0
