Do you think Sierra had a good time?

Sadie looks like she has her cheeks full of goodies for later!

Lucy's attitude is just as it looks in this picture - don't mess with me, I'm as big as the rest of you guys!

wooh looks like fun. Daisy, Roxy and i wish we could come, but we're enjoying our dogs & neighbors' in our own makeshift dog park. Let's all be festive and remember the men and women that died so that we might have these grand days and moments.

Oh I am green with envy yet again this year of all of you who got to go!! It looks like you all had a wonderful time again. I see some new doggie faces and recognize so many of the *regulars* and their humans too. I am glad the weather cooperated. So far I have only looked at the pictures that are posted but plan to head off to the albums shortly.

Staci, I was wondering as I was viewing all of these pictures how far everyone is from Findlay. Would those of you who attended please post how far, either in minutes or miles, you had to come for this meeting? I have always wondered who drove the farthest. I imagine it would be our Mayor, Ms. Karen, but just wondered how far everyone else traveled.

I'm finally up and around. We got back to our place around 11 p.m. and after a few more minutes of gabbing we let Ashley go home.

Andy and the pups are still crashed out. I'll get my photos posted soon.

Pam, we are 2 hours from Findlay.

It was great seeing everyone again! Ashley, feel free to carpool anytime. I'm glad Chipper stayed on his best behavior (for the most part - he just couldn't resist getting in a hump or two ) and even Kia didn't start any tiffs this time. A first I think.

Ashley, I'm so glad you got a shot of them all in the car. Nice photos everyone!

Great food, great fun. Hope to see you all again soon!

well Pam if the Mayor's can do it - I think You can too! They drive 12 hours.
Where I grew up and where I live now is only about 30 min from Findlay - I worked in Findlay in college. And I regularly head over there to shop, eat, meet with friends, etc.
Its bigger than the town I live in so it has more options. But it doesn't compare in size of course to the HUGE cities like New Jersey or even Cincinatti or Cleveland here in OH.

we haven't heard from Angie have we? Hope she isn't driving around Norwalk again.

There is no age limit for coming to the dog park meetings. We have some very young kids come like 13 with parents or friends. I think Kay (Kfmar) was only 15 or 16 when she started to come. We mostly talk about dogs and pets so there is no reason you wouldn't fit in with the old foggies.

Phred, Staci, Carl and I had Day Two of the Memorial Dog Park meeting today. We gathered about noon with the leftovers and had another picnic but since both shelters near the dog park were taken we picniced across the way in the other half of the park. Then took our dogs over to left them run. Several locals showed up to - even Brutus and Lucy - so we had a great time again - only this time my whole gang got to come. Now I have 5 very tuckered dogs laying around the house. I will be posting some new pictures from DayTwo soon.
