I think she's an amazing girl. I hope she can continue in her father's footsteps. I know she'll do well.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I agree Vela, very well put.

This little girl is so smart.

I think she's wonderful. She's grown up in a very unique situation and has had experiences most adults haven't. She's very intelligent and compassionate already, and has seemingly always had a desire to be like her father and make a difference in the world. I think she will do her family and the Earth very proud. I only hope she always keeps a good head on her shoulders and doesn't let fame get to her or forget her father's integrity. I don't see that happening, and I am honestly looking forward to watching her grow and I think the world is a better place with her in it.

Vela said it best. Steve was actually taping some footage for Bindi's show when he was killed. He was supposed to be shooting for something else, but the weather wasn't right, or something like that.
I think she is an amazing little girl. It's so sad that her younger brother will not really know his father.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I am sorry but I agree with her doing this, I was never a huge Steve fan but my sons father died last year. He still stays involved with the VFW and the Masons. It makes him feel connected.

His dad and his Grandad are /were 33rd Degree Masons, I thought he would shun these things but he hasn't so I support and back him. He may only be 10 but he is as mature as I see Bindi. More power to her and I wish her luck and happiness in her ventures.
