    This is one of the saddest, heartbreaking stories I've ever read.

    You're safe now, Goldie, surrounded by tail wags, yummy slurps and the open paws of our PT pets. Please know that there were people who did love you immensely and miss you terribly. Hear the birds and meows and playful barks? They're all for you. Play hard, jump for joy and enjoy your fluffy wings.

    This just breaks my heart so much I am not even sure what to say. You have a truly wonderful heart for the job you do and I can not imagine she did not know how loved she was there!!! Please don't ever think you failed her, you did all that could possibly be done, those people will get there's in the end, you can trust in that.
    I am so very sorry for your loss.
