Aw, I'm so sorry to hear of Bowser's passing. He had a wonderful life with you and I'm sure he appreciated it very much. RIP Bowser.

I know that PT's very own Corrina was there with the other grandmas waiting with open arms for Bowser to welcome him to his final home....

I can not cry and type at the same time. I will have to reply again when I am home and not at work. You know how many hearts are heavy today with prayers and love for you and all you stand for my dear friend

Oh, Phred, I am so sorry! I can't believe Bowser is gone. He will be sorely missed by all of us - I am surprised to find it was only two years you had him - it seems like much longer that he has been a part of the PT family. It will be very sad not to see him on Sunday with Smoke and Cinder on their three way leash tied to the tree at the shelter overseeing the cooking of burgers, hot dogs etc. Or see his slow meandering gate as he takes his time walking around the dog park too dignified to get caught up in the antics of the younger dogs.

You have indeed been a hero to an old dog who needed a home to go "home" from. Not many people would go the the lenghts you did to "save" him and give him such a loving home in doing so.

    RIP Bowser!

Mz Gini directed me to this thread earlier and when I first read it the tears flowed freely. I can't imagine how painful that must have been for your Phred but I believe that letting them go is the last wonderful loving thing we can do for our pets. Big {{{hugs}}} to you and to Mz Zippy.

God speed Bowser and I look forward to meeting you one fine day.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Even with my yappity mouth, there are times that I can't express fully how deeply sad I am, for your loss Phred. Bless you forever for taking in such a deserving pup into your life and on to the Ranch. Although 2 years wasn't long enough, you gave the fluffy, smiling boy, a happy, exciting and loved life. Thank you for keeping him comfortable in your loving arms when his time came.

I don't even have to reread his arrival story, I remember it so clearly. I was in awe of you and the events you went through.

Have a safe trip to the Bridge, fuzzbucket. Thanks Staci for remembering my Cody as the official Bridge Watcher and Caretaker. I know already that he's taking special care of Bowser and watching over him while he plays and runs with all our babies.

Blessings on you, my "Toots" and Tonya. You done good.

    Phred,
Please let me reach out across the miles and give you a HUGE hug.

It was with such a heavy heart that I opened this thread, because I knew I would be in tears reading your special tribute, a tribute only you could write.
What a wonderful, wonderful thing you did taking Bowsie in, and giving him the most wonderful two senior years of his life.

Zippy - I am so sorry you lost your childhood pupper, but I know you were so glad that he found a beautiful home with Phred.

I am so sorry I never got to meet you Bowser, but I "met" you through your Dad's loving words, and act of kindness.

Play pain free at the Bridge darlin boy, the world seems a sadder place today without you in it.

    {{{{hugs}}}} to you Phred.

    Love
    Michelle
