Mistie is just like my Tigris who slept on my lap the very first time we met and has never done that since then. He gives love only at his terms but there is still a lot of cuddling and now with his six years he sleeps beside me on the sofa when we look TV. You have to take just what you get and I am sure Beautiful Mistie gives a lot (and should get some Xtra treats for being such a wonderful COTD).
