Good luck girl! Do you know I wasn't hardly nervous at all? I think it was because I was so glad to be having the operation in the first place. I hope you do well and heal quickly. When you get up and down, do it fast. If you pause when you're halfway through it, the pain will last longer. And remember to hold the pillow on your stomach when getting up and walking. It helps a lot! I think someone here told me about it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I've started my prayers already Catty!!! I just know that Phred will keep us up to date and of course, I'll be doing my own investigation.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Slick!

I wasn't sure if you were on holidays...I left a phone msg for you and PM'd Moosmom. Moosmom gets free phone minutes, so I thought it would be best for her to call my mom and confirm that I am still sucking air tomorrow evening!

Anyway, you have my mom's number too...Phred doesn't....not sure how he would update...I think he will need to be UPDATED!

    Sad, but true.

The "new rules" the Hoppsbittles follow makes it darn near IMPOSSIBLE to
check up on a Patient even if you're a Blood Relative!

If you really WANT someone to be able to inquire, and be TOLD anything at all,
you have to pre-list them on your admittance form.

Or the Inquiring Party has to tell some real WOPPER TAILS to a not-so-swift
    hospital worker
    who will believe anything.

Heck, last tyme I was in the Hoppsbittle, even *I* couldn't get a straight answer
when I asked my NURSE how I was doing! "Oh, you'll have to ask the Doctor."

We may not "know much", but we'll be Prayin Up a Storm!

I felt like a different person when I had recovered. I agree that you will feel so much better. If someone hasn't told you yet, www.hystersisters.com is a good place to go for support.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
