On behalf of Ikkyu, my resident "Little Prince", I would like to say a big thank you to all who have written in with such kind messages. We are both quite overwhelmed! He has enjoyed his day of fame, and has been indulged with treats of course. As he now lives in France, he is very fond of all kinds of cheese, even the really stinky kind! In fact, he is a real gourmet. Much of the cat food he eats comes from Japan where they have the best cat food I have ever seen - mostly fish-based.
As we are in France, it is now late and we are turning in, so thanks again, everyone!

Ikkyu, you are a great-looking 14 y/o boy! Your red fur is stunning and you look regal in both your pictures. You are very agile to be catching mice! My goodness, you have seen more of the world than most humans have. I'm so glad your mom was able to take you with her when she moved. I think it is not only Dr Christina taking good care of you, but your mom also flourishing much love on you. Dear Ikkyu, you are a wonderful COTD and I hope you and your mom have many more healthy and happy years together.
