I'm SO glad you decided not to!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should tell your brother that neutering is not mutilation and does not affect their behavior or instictual tendencies. With neutering, there are a couple days of discomfort and then kitty is back to normal. Declawing has a much longer recovery period, much much much much much more excruitiating pain, and can affect the cat in negative ways for the rest of its life
