Something that really ticks me off is when people my age seem to think the world owes them something, and that it's perfectly acceptable to do what they want to do when they want to do it, simply because they want to, and no-one else has a say.

What is so difficult about just being focused and sensible for about a third of the day, then relaxing and having fun in your spare time? By merging general life with studies, you become immune to the little pleasures in life outside the classroom. Whenever you ask such people what they did in their half-term holidays, the answer is always 'nowt' (nothing). Honestly, people who get on with their work may be the boring ones, but I'm quite happy to be so if it means I can go out and enjoy myself because I haven't left all my essays until the last minute.

As for attacking the teacher, we live in a sad, sad society if people will break necks over audio entertainment. I hope they bill him for the entire hospital fee of the teacher.
