I know I have not been online very much and I'm all the more touched by your good wishes.

I have some good things in my life right now (best one is a job in London) but also a tough one: my mom is old and getting worse and she broke her hip one week ago at my sister's wedding So I was on the phone yesterday a lot to get her settled in a good rehab clinic and somehow the birthday feeling was not in the foreground.

But I still had a bottle of champaign with Siegmar on the sunny balcony in the evening and Filou and Tigris played between the flowers
