    the night i got the keys to my house, i bought 2 bottles of good wine, came here with the wonder dog, opened one bottle, drank a toast to a dream coming true. i put the second bottle away for the mortgage burning party. may all your wishes and dreams for your house come true((hugs))

    I just paid off the mortgage on my own house after 17 years of payments. I hope you enjoy your new home as much as I enjoy mine.

    Reserve a bookcase for several Do-it-Yourself books. There's always something to fix

    The 3Ms are as much of the owner of the new place as we are, so a fenced in yard is a must! . I'm happy to say that we have a 6' block walls all around

    Did I mention that we have a bonus ... cat that comes with the house??? . There was a stray kitty that was being fed, loved and cared for by previous owners for the last few years, but for some reasons, they never refered to the cat theirs, and left the cat when they moved out!!. The cat lives outside in the front/backyard, but she is absolutely beautiful!!! Now, if the 3Ms doesn't chase her away, I may have another M in my life (me thinking of naming her Mystical)!

    I took some pictures of her yesterday, but didn't have time to upload them. I'll do that tonite. Maybe you guys can help id her breed & age for me.

    I'm sooooo happy because I've always secretly wanted a cat, but didn't ask (I KNOW my husband would say no) - but now, it seems like we're meant to have a cat!!! It's God's will, don't you think?
