Awwww ... golly, gee, whiz ... dad gum ... goodness gracious ... today's special furry one leaves me almost speechless. (People who know me know how hard it is to come by that !!!) Awww, sweet, sweet Suze!!! Your photo with the little one tugged at my heartstrings. While reading your bio, I almost cried (I'm usually just a grumpy, old, crotchety thing or as Shirley McLaine's character said in Steel Magnolia's, "I've just been in a very bad mood for 20 years" !!! ) I don't save DOTD pages because I don't want anyone to think I favor one special one above another. (I know that's silly 'cause how is anyone going to know???) Today, I have to make an exception. You have touched my heart in such a special way. Like all members of our community, I work on improving my character. (Hmm ... did I hear someone in the peanut gallery say, "That's a losing battle".) Anyway ... a few weeks ago, I decided that instead of reading books on changing behavior using cognitive methods, I'd use the recommendations from the book, Dogs Don't Bite When A Growl Will Do. Suze, you are a very special example of the wisdom in that book. Have a marvelous day, filled with happines and joy as our beloved DOTD!!!

Happy Dog of the Day, Happy Mother's Day to you sweet, sweet Suze!!! What a beautiful Beagle girl you are sweetheart; a doggie with a heart so big well, they don't come any bigger! Oh, that precious photo, your inpirational story, has me all teary eyed. You may not have given birth to those precious wee ones but I don't think they could have ever wanted for a more loving and devoted furmom than you Pure, unconditional love in a beautiful furry wrapper; best friend to all who cross your path; that's you, sweet Suze!
