    Still looking good!

Dr. Nielson said, "so far that is still looking good"! He feels comfortable enough with it that we can go to every-other-week checkups now! The sutures may take a while yet before they are gone, he said it can take months.

Her next check is two weeks from today.

I have a video of her playing.. it seems to work best with the newest version of Windows Media player so I hope it will work! She was playing in the kiddie pool, and Tommy was trying to figure out what to do about this young hellion usurping his pool .

And yesterday after playing more in the pool (she likes to stick her whole face in the water)

Thank you for the continued thoughts and prayers everyone, I feel more strongly every day that she has been cured

Oh Raven, such good news for you - and I know it warms every heart on Pet Talk.

You just have too much swimming and playing ahead of you to let this get you down.

    Kisses on that nose!!

I am so happy to hear this latest update, Jess!! Not only is it wonderful that this beautiful girl has been cured, in a way, it has healed some things for you too. You know what I mean. What a blessing that you adopted this girl and the events that have taken place are able to give you enough reassurance to move on with greater strength than you have been able to experience for awhile. Thank God. I am so happy to see Raven is still doing ok. I will continue to pray for her. The video is so cute! I take it Tasha doesn't like water? I know you have to be so relieved Jessica. Raven is a tough little girl, she is going to beat this!!!

Thank you so much everyone. Today I started reading through this thread from the beginning, just watching the story unfold and the emotionalism of it, and I'm impacted again by everyone's prayers, empathy, words of comfort and encouragement. What a beautiful group of people you all are.

No water for Tasha, except for drinking! I should have added this second one too, as it has more of Tommy boy in it . The neighbor was mowing so that's the noisy mower you hear. When I fill the pool Tasha is right there lapping up water out of the hose, she loves drinking it as it comes out. But she has no interest in getting into it!

Tommy is just not quite sure what to make of her splishing and splashing in "his" pool . I think I need to get a bigger pool!

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Well, the videos are buffering too much for me to watch them right now. But I love that pic! I'm so glad things are improving and Raven is doing so well. That makes us all so very happy and I know it makes you feel better. I'm so glad. This will be a special Mother's Day for you. Hugs to you all. I think about you often.

Jess, she looks so great! I think we're looking pretty darn good!

Love that girl so much. I am not on PT as much since we are away but the both of you (and the T's) are still in my heart.
