The first thing she should have done is hire an attorney and get an
injunction against the church removing anything on her property. She could
still seek legal action to replace the shrubs & trees but it might have prevented the heartache to be proactive. If it is indeed her property, they
have broken the laws by trespassing & vandalism.

This is definitely not the type of thing that a typical United Methodist Church would advocate. How sad.

I promise you guys, the south is not always like what has been described in this article. It is embarassing to me to even read something like this.

Oh, I believe you Logan. I can't imagine a "real" established church like
UMC ever do something like what was discribed here.

She needs to take legal action or quit her whining. I hate reading stories where all they do is whine and the responsible party doesn't have any repercussions.

But why would they want to do that ????
I mean the hedge separated her house from the church car park....right ???
Would the churghgoers want a view of the next door house when they parked their cars ??? And the hedge was not on church property.
This lady and her husband need to seek some legal advice. Firstly, so that the law may take action against church members for trespass onto private property. And secondly, so that the owners may sue in tort for the negligent damage done on their property.

    That poor lady
I hope she sues the pants off that church group. If they were decent human beings, they would have worked something out with her, instead of trashing her yard like that
