I have just saw this thread. I am sorry your poor Sassy is hurting. Any news on when she will see a vet? Please keep us posted. I don't think she is too old for surgery either. Good luck to you, Sassy, and your family.

Are there any low cost vet clinics by you? That may help with getting her in somewhere sooner if your mom knows it is cheaper. I hope you can get Sassy to a vet soon so she can start feeling better.

I hope so. Money is always a big deal in regards to our pets, but she might be easily helped with some stronger medication to help her deal with the pain. Please keep us posted.
