Wow, it's true, huh? I remember all those "urban legends" our moms told us when we were young about girls with beehive hair-dos who got roaches in their ears & heads because they never washed their hair!

I had my ears "coned" once, it's an old Indian method for removing debris from one's ear canals. Cones (like a funnel) are made of strips of cloth & wax. One end is inserted into your ear, and the other end is lit, and it creates a draft that draws stuff up out of the ear canal. The woman who did it swears she often sees bugs come out of peoples' ears. Creepy.

ewww I hope I would notice a spider on me. I keep my room so ultra organized that there's no where for spiders to hide (except the one wolf spider who got away). All of my baby hissing roaches got out one day and I managed to catch all 31 of them within a few hours.

Ugh I think I might pass out and die off if I really had a spider in my ear....not scared of snakes, rats, or most anything else, and I'm not truly scared of spiders....but i don't want them on me they are gross to me haha. While I marvel at how cool they are far far away from me, in their webs, catching insects, OUTSIDE, and nowhere near me, I freak out if one gets on me. I once had one drop down my shirt and I leaped up had my shirt off and flung across the room in about 2 seconds flat, while screaming the whole while. If it was IN my ear....ewwwwwww.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

I saw the little boy on the news the other day (yesterday, I think), and he seemed so proud! I would have died and I'm not even afraid of spiders!

    Listen up....(pun intended)..

Having worked in the medical field for years I think two spiders is a little pedestrian.

The accidental stuff is weird, the purposely placed items are bizarre.
