I third your prediction. I really, really, really think Melinda is the best singer and entertainer. She is also sweet, cute and so lovable that she is what I think an "Idol" should be. I have been listening to her downloads and will absolutely buy her CD when it is out. Her voice is so soothing and clear. LOVE her!! I am enjoying her progress because I was able to see her audition and loved her right away.

Does it really matter They are both going to end up with fantastic careers. I think all of the final four will.

Although sometimes I wonder is it really better to win AI or to come in second or third or fourth. Look at Daughtry ..... and where is Taylor Hicks these days lol.

Melinda and Jordin are both worthy of winning that is for sure and I really can't say who will win.... but Melinda definately seems to have experience on her side. But Jordin will be a force to be reckoned with with some experience.

You're right sparks. I think the last contestants, from any year, will have a chance at a successful career. However, it seems it's all in the marketing. I think Bo Bice could have been alot more successful if he had been marketed better.

Melinda will succeed no matter where she ends up in the order. She is really out of her league on American Idol. She's been a professional from day one.

Yes marketing plays a huge part.

Although I heard that after Idol Bo took some time off because his wife or g/f had a baby. Not saying that is a bad thing but when you come off a show like AI I think you need to get out there right away.... if you take time off between the show and your album people will forget about you.

But then Reuben IMO wasn't very successful.... I don't think I have ever heard one of his songs.... and Clay who came in second was wildly successful.

I didn't like Blake's first song and only kind of liked his 2nd song.
I liked all of the girls songs!

Even though Blake didn't too so hot last night, I think Lakisha will go home tonight.
