    Thanks everyone...

She's doing pretty well. She's moving ok and eating well. She's taken to the crate nicely. Kayleigh has never been crated before, but she seems to like relaxing in one!

Not so happy with the collar! She's actually been very good about leaving the stitches alone. When I'm outside with her, she gets the collar off!

As soon as she could, she had to go check out her digging spot. She isn't feeling up to working on her tunnel system, but she had to make sure it was still there and no other dog had tried to dig there!

Ah, sweet Kayleigh, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Gotta have priorities...good thing no one else dug in your digs! Try to be good and leave that collar on long enough to heal up a bit, and stay away from pokey things! Maybe you need a couple nice squeaky stuffies to chew on? Star chews hers, then gets nice to them & treats them like babies.

I am so glad to hear Kayleigh is home and recovering.
Just curious....did you have a nice long talk with ALL of the dogs (and cats)and let them know that nobody is allowed to get sick or injured while Stuart is not home? They should really know this so they can be more careful.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I did. Hopefully they were listening! The last time Stuart went away for work wasn't good! Both Kasha and Preacher died while he was away. I can deal with sick and injured on my own, although I'd rather not, but dealing with two deaths on my own was brutal!

She looks like she has such massive feet, and her eyes have a wolfish gaze to them, she's a pretty girl. Do you know if she has mal in her? I'm so glad everyone seems to be on the mend again. Now everyone STAY that way!

She has huge feet that spread when she walks. She leaves massive footprints. She is a malamute-wolf mix. About a quarter wolf from what I've been told.
