Wow how frightening Tamara Sounds like your vet has great instincts. I am very glad the surgery went well and I hope her recovery is smooth. She's such a beautiful girl. Maybe during her bed rest we can get some new pictures of her too . Get well soon beautiful Kayleigh!

I'm glad to hear everything went well!

In my opinion, it's comforting to hear that a situation could have been worse, it makes you feel confident that you were put in the right place at the right time!!

{{hugs}} to you and Kayleigh and prayers for a speedy recovery!

Huge sigh of relief. Kayleigh was the first thing on my mind when I got up this morning just after 4 am. I am glad it went well and pray that her recovery is quick. Kayleigh, sweetie, take it easy, relax and recover well.

Tamara, I just saw this thread. Wow, what an event for Kayleigh. Poor thing. I'm so glad she wasn't worse off and that you found her when you did. You really do have some amazing people working with your dogs. Thank God for those people, they are truly angels.

Oh my goodness, I lot sure has happened since I last checked in. Well, I am glad to hear that things moved so quickly, I am sure it is what saved this pretty girl's life. I am truly keeping my fingers crossed that things calm down for you now, and that Kayleigh has a quick and uneventful recovery. And let me echo Jess' request for pictures.
