Kayleigh could use some prayers..Stitches are out!

She survived the surgery and it was the right call to go in.
Dr. Candace found several toothpicks and a strange shard of metal that I can't explain.

She'll be on crate rest for a couple weeks.
Anvik is loosing his giant size crate--it's the only one Kayleigh fits in!

THANKS, God; and THANKS Dr. Candace, too!!

Now lets all pray for a good, quick, and un-eventful recovery.

Hope this goes towards Stuart being able to relaxe a bit before he heads North.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kayleigh! I'm glad that the surgery went well and that the shard was caught before cutting her up more. I'll keep my fingers crossed that her temp is normal and that she feels well enough to go home tomorrow to start her recovery.

Wow how frightening Tamara Sounds like your vet has great instincts. I am very glad the surgery went well and I hope her recovery is smooth. She's such a beautiful girl. Maybe during her bed rest we can get some new pictures of her too . Get well soon beautiful Kayleigh!

Huge sigh of relief. Kayleigh was the first thing on my mind when I got up this morning just after 4 am. I am glad it went well and pray that her recovery is quick. Kayleigh, sweetie, take it easy, relax and recover well.
