I saw a sign at a toy store in Cape May once:
"Don't feed the furbies"
and another in Cape May
"Don't touch children"
It had those fake children that are supposed to look like they are playing hide and seek, and I guess and hope that is what they ment.

When I was kid, there used to be bus stop signs stuck in the ground.
They were about 3 feet high, coloured yellow, and had big black letters reading from top to bottom BUS STOP. The schoolkids used to get yellow paint and block out/ alter some of the lettering, so that it read PIS OF.
