Wow, that's pretty unsually, I guess no one expects such a thing to happen.

Same here, we were all very surprised when the west of Germany was hit by an earthquake in the early 90s...

Glad that no one got seriously injured!

It did say on the news last night that this particular area experiences an earthquake every two weeks. It is just that they are normally tiny little things, so they go unnoticed. An earthquake of the magnitude experienced yesterday has only happened three times before in that area.
