Oh well....one good thing is that now there isn't any lambs who will have to go thru the trauma of being taught to "SIT"

Yeah, that whole bunk about Poodles being extremely rare in Japan (which therefore explains why nobody knew what an actual Poodle looked like) is pretty ridiculous. Japanese toy poodle breeders have turned out some of the finest specimens in the ring.

    What bunk!

Isn't it amazing what they try to RAM down our throats as the truth? Had they been passing off lambs as Bedlington terriers, I might have believed it, but...poodles? A new Designer breed... "Lamoodles"

How annoying, I totally missed this story! Excellent thread though.

The Sun is not what you would call "a reliable source". It is a newspaper in name only. There used to be an excellent story, probably apocryphal, about a man who signed divorce papers then subsequently contested the divorce. In court his lawyer attempted to argue that because he couldn't read, he didn't know what he was signing. When questioned, his wife exclaimed, "What do you mean he can't read? He bought The Sun every morning for the 12 years we were married!"
