I missed this, I was gone for almost a week. I know you made it to Florida, so MissKevious must have recovered alright. my vet always asks if mine are keeping their food down ok, apparently huskies have a reputation for sensitive stomachs! (Of course the exception to the rule is Mr. Sherman, if he can chew it apart, in it goes, silly boy ) Will keep paws crossed vacation food agrees with Nebo & Nebo Jr.!

Neither of them have had any problems so far!

Only problem was from drinking salt water yesterday at the island.

Keva seems fine...she hasn't thrown up at all since then. She's been playing/eating/drinking ok, so I hope she's ok. I talked to the vet when I took Keva about Nebo eating the recalled NB venison and brown rice dog food. He acts perfectly fine but the vet worried me by saying he could have kidney damage but not be showing symptoms. :/ So since I'm paranoid I took him in today and had a blood test and urinalysis (another $80). The vet called with the blood test results a little while ago and that looked fine, one kidney level was a bit high but he said that could be normal. I won't get the urinalysis results until tomorrow or as late as monday. I'm sure NB won't pay for that, though they should as I wouldn't be having to do this if it weren't for the stupid recall.

I'm sorry I missed this earlier Amy. When it rains it pours doesn't it? I hope your worries are put more at ease now. I'm glad to hear little Keva seems to be feeling better. Sending hugs and kisses to the beautiful husky duo

Wow Amy. I'm sorry you're having all that trouble but I know it makes you feel better to make sure and see if they're both alright. Though it sure makes the wallet hurt, doesn't it? I'm glad Keva seems to be ok now and I hope Nebo will, too. Hug them for me and I hope everything works out alright.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Gosh Amy. Sorry you're having troubles with both of those cuties. I'm glad to hear Keva is better and I hope Nebo is going to continue with a clean bill of health.

Maybe you can get some help with the bill from the company. It certainly isn't your fault that the food was recalled.

I'm glad that Keva's results came out all right. I hope Nebo's urinalysis comes out healthy and no problems.

The vet just called a few minutes ago...Nebo is fine, his urinalysis came back normal. Also Keva has been acting good too. Well, they had to suffer through a bath today, but they survived.
