While I've never gotten to use the S2, I do own the S1 and have had use of the S3 for a month last summer. I like both but the S3 definately is better with more features. All of my cameras have been a Canon! I also own the A40 digital, Rebel II SLR, and Rebel XS SLR too.

Here's a few pix I took last summer with the S3....(sorry for my inconsistent resizing)

    Color select function

    Macro of a sunflower leaf

Bumble bee on a coneflower with zoom

Some type of catipillar with macro

    My clemantis with Macro

And one I took 2 years ago with my S1....

Great pictures! I went to a Twins game on Monday, but I left my camera in the hotel room. Stupid me...

And why my S2IS don't have zoom on supermacro?

HUH? I don't quite get the question on the 'in move' part sorry.

I'm not positive with the S2, however I own both the S1 and the S3 and only my S3 has super macro. It will allow focusing right on the lens if you want but isn't a zoom macro. I have to assume the S2 doesn't have that feature either. I'm not sure if any point and shoot type camera has that and I've priced lenses for a DSLR for zoom macro and they are expensive. If you want to zoom you'd be further ahead to just use the regular macro setting and zoom in with that rather than use super macro mode.

*as a side note I just bought the Canon XTi yesterday. YAY! So now I currently own 5 Canon cameras! lol

WOW...AMAZING pictures people!!! I almost bought the S3 but instead I decieded to get a compact camera. If I am not mistaken Canon came out with the S5 I tried it out in the store and loved it...but $$$ it is a ton of money I had the canon A520, but after having it about a year I sold it to my brother and got a compact Panasonic which I love! My mom also got a mega zoom camera from Panasonic. (don't get me wrong...I still love cananon!)

my s2 has super macro and macro
I think that you can't do moving shots in macro or super macro b/c the camera is trying to get the details of the image you want.
Back in June I was trying to take pics at a race and when the sun was out I was getting good pics but when the sun went down I couldn't get good ones b/c using the flash-the rapid succession- and zoom was too much for the camera to handle. I could either do rapid succession or flash and zoom - one or the other.

not sure if I understood the question either so I'm not sure I answered it.

I think it won't zoom in super macro b/c the lens is already out pretty far -and you can get really close to the object if you read the book it tells you to be careful using macro and super macro b/c you could get too close and bust the lens. So that's zoom won't work with the macros.
I don't know what the move question means.
