I am so glad our little girl is better now. Listen to me - OUR little girl. It almost feels like she belongs to all of us. Your video made me cry. Reminds me of all the times with my Sherry. It's amazing how we all think alike. That's what's so great about this place. You feel right at home and you're not afraid to say what you feel. Nobody laughs at you here. Great to be a part of it.

Give kisses to OUR little girl!

Really, it just looks like her tooth is missing. Like I said, I had looked at pictures of similar surgeries and the results looked horrendous.

Raven's surgeon did a great job. Is there anyway we can send your vet & the surgeon some thank you notes?

Welcome home, sweet beautiful Raven! I am just so glad she is doing well, Jess. She couldn't have asked for a better home than with you, Tasha, and Tommy. give the sweet girl a kiss for me, please. and it does like she is just missing her tooth. the vet did a good job. and that's a good idea for the thank you notes for Raven's surgeon, Kay.

WOW! Raven's mouth looks so much better than I expected! She looks great and still is beautiful! My Cody lost a top canine and seriously. nobody seemed to notice and he ate just fine after a week. Raven's gonna love her yummy meals! I love that her 2 furry nurses are taking good care of her too! We love you Raven and Jess!

Hello, k9soul, Tash, Tommy and Raven ... just checking in on you (and yes, Raven, sorry but the mouth rinse was really necessary - that way you get a big thumbs-up at your recheck appointment this week, and everything heals up really nicely with no problems)

Thank you guys. I went through a period of intense paranoia looking at the healing tissues this morning getting myself worked up to thinking that might be it coming back. So I showed up at the vet's as he was pulling in for the day LOL. He says it is really too early to tell, but that right NOW it appears to be normal healing tissue. She will be checked every week and if she goes a month post surgery without any signs he thinks we will be able to breathe easy. I think the next week or two will be the hardest for me anxiety-wise. I am out every day after she plays, having her sit and taking pictures when she looks up with her tongue to the side so that I can really zoom in and study it close on the computer for any changes or suspicions. I have to admit I've gotten some pretty head shots of her while waiting for good mouth shots.

Her front three incisors on her right have sunk down a tad lower than the two on the left, I suppose from the partial bone removal destabilizing it, but it is really not noticeable, I doubt anyone else just looking at her would notice.

Her next recheck is in a week (same day/time). Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. She is not out of the woods yet.
