It's going to be really tough to not keep Rocky here lol - Rocky was an owner surrender to a shelter, his owners brought him in and told the shelters employees that they couldn't keep him anymore because he was "too good at jumping their fence" and that "if he got into the neighbors yard again, the neighbors would shoot him" They said that he was a shepherd lab mix, but who knows - I just know he's damn cute!!

god that is horrible!!! what the heck, I hate (some.) people. its so nice to know he will be in good hands from now on though, whether he stays with you or goes to a different awesome family!

and omg I just saw Emmas scooter pics- SO CUTE. Poor girl! Its so awesome that those are available now though. Ive seen so many dogs in them and they just dont even notice! they get around just fine! she has such a sweet face too

I can't even fathom giving one of my dogs up because the fence isn't high enough - it wouldn't even be a question, I'd just build a higher fence, or install an electric one.

I'd like about 15 minutes alone in a dark alley with whoever did this to Emma. Maybe 20.

I just LOVE Emma!!! I can't get over it! Don't get me wrong, I think your two pups are adorable and Irish as well. There's just something about Emma that gets to me. (must be those freckles)

Yay!!!

A woman came to meet Irish today and fell in love with him as soon as she saw him....she is going to take a few days to get the necessary doggie supplies, and pick him up Friday afternoon to bring him to his forever home! I am so, so happy for him, he deserves this.

Yesterday we got the foster dog that I have been so excited about - Rocky!! He's definitely biggerthan the 40 pounds he's listed at, but that's ok He looks like he might have some pit or rottie mixed in there, judging by the shape of his head - what do you guys think?? I've taken a TON of pictures of him because I think he's gorgeous, and he looks so much like my Molly! Yesterday when we brought him home it was clear that he thought that he was staying out in the yard - he made a bed out of leaves and thought he was going to sleep outside. It made me so sad. He really seems to get along great with my 2 dogs, and loves people. We're considering keeping him, but we're going to wait a few days until his personality really shows through and make a decision based on what is best for him.
