Gee what an interesting week you are heaing in to!
Be cautious with the fosters around Maxiumus. They may a year old and may not have encountered a cat as a roomie before!
Best wishes to all!

Yeah, we're definitely going to keep a close eye on them around the cat. From what I understand, Irish has been around cats and really likes them - not sure about Emma and Rocky though.
That picture of Rocky made me crack up too, he looks so funny. It's definitely going to be chaotic here for the next few days, but that's ok![]()
Emma and Irish are here! Emma is just heartbreaking, I can't believe someone would do this to such a sweet little dog. We've put Emma in her scooter and she seems like she's an old pro at it! She even ran across the room in the scooter, chasing my Lab![]()
Irish I think has to be 1/2 lab, 1/2 greyhound. He's gorgeous, and incredibly fast, and has the gorgeous body of a greyhound. He definitely has no conception of how big he is, and likes to jump up on your chest while your sitting down. It's like getting hit with a 60 pound weight lol - we're already working on not jumping with him. He knows "sit" and "down" which is a good start.
We were busy trying to get Emma situated when we noticed that the 3 other dogs were really quiet in the other room....way too quiet. We went in to check on them and discovered that Irish had gotten his nose in a fast food bag and eaten not 1, but 2 orders of large french fries. I guess there's definitely some lab appetite in him. We'll have to keep that stuff out of his reach from now on.
Here are some pics of Emma trying out her new scooter!

OMG i feel so sorry for emma i hope she ok i just love beagles lol and Irish looks just like are dog and ares is a Lab mixed with a English sheperd the dogs are all cute
Emma is such a cutie. It brings tears to my eyes to see her in the scooter, to know that someone could hurt her that way just makes me sick.
I just love the little freckles on her nose!! I am so glad she already has a forever home.
Irish is just adorable!! I see greyhound just when looking at his face.
I see Maximus and Emma met. I don't know how you do it....I'd take in a foster and never let them leave. That's why I don't foster, I'd be the biggest foster failure EVER!!![]()
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.
Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
Cindy (Human) - Taz (RB Tabby) - Zoee (RB Australian Shepherd) - Paizly (Dilute Tortie) - Taggart (Aussie Mix) - Jax (Brown & White Tabby), - Zeplyn (Cattle Dog Mix)
I know - I just keep telling myself that the more fosters I decide to keep, the less fosters I can help, ya know?
I said the same thing about Emma's freckles, I LOVE them! Irish is a little love bug, he loves to cuddle - but he also loves to steal food. I was making cookies in the kitchen and had the stuff laid out on the counter, which is pretty high up - I didn't think he could reach up there - well, he did. He ate a stick of freaking butter right off the counter. I think he ate the paper, too![]()
Emma definitely has some feeling in her back legs, so I hope at some point she can regain use of them. That would be wonderful!
