I am glad Raven made it through surgery okay. I know you miss her, but she will be home before you know it. I pray all went well. Please keep us posted after the doctor calls you.

Ok I just talked to my vet.
He said the surgery went well and the specialist (he referred to him as "Cal") was very pleased with how it looked afterwards. Cal removed quite a bit of bone and soft tissue and two of her teeth, and they may need to remove another tooth yet. The next step, if the cancer shows up again (please God forbid) would be to take a significant portion of her jaw off.. but we will pray and pray that that does not happen. She will be getting rechecks once a week for awhile. He said right now she is awake and moving around already and is looking good. I am to call at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow and he is pretty certain as long as everything is still looking good that she can come home.
Your support and prayers have been phenomenal. I only ask you please please keep her in your prayers the next few weeks that the cancer will not return. That she heals and that this will be the end of this horrible nightmare. Thank you all.

We're hoping that this is the end and we will all awaken from this horrible nightmare, Jess.
I'm glad she is up and doing well. I have so many questions but I'll wait until tomorrow, as to not overwhelm you.
Hugs to you....

Oh Jess....YAY! I am so glad everything went well. I am praying that she recovers well and no more cancer shows up. Please give Raven Girl a big BIG hug for us over here. I am so happy all went good. Stay positive Jess, it is all better and with any luck, will remain that way. Good job Raven! Good girl.

Jess, that is so good to hear! I hope it's over with now. I know you can't wait to see her again. Your update caused a big smile to come across my face. I hope the bad times are gone.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
