If I ever get another cat it will be a nice laid-back adult tomcat.

I believe "laid back" and "tomcat" contradict one another! Maybe not.

And as for your mom being nutso for having you wish fish, and then 3 kittens, well, I resemble THAT remark! But then, eveyone already knows I am nutty!

I have 8 cats, 1 dog, 1 Dad. 1 20 gal tank with 16 fish. Two bird feeders out in the back yard. And I just returned from setting a trap for a little TNR; but at least one of the 13 I am planning to keep as she is very friendly with humans.

So .. . your mom has good company, if I DO say so myself, te hee!
